T. Bryan Smitherman, MD, attended the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in Galveston, TX, and received his medical degree in 1992. He served his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX (1992-1997). In addition, Dr. Smitherman received board certification in orthopedic surgery from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
